Most of our sauna models are built with hemlock or cedar panels, chosen for their natural resistance to moisture, minimal resin content (so it doesn't drip or smell under heat), and stability over repeated heat cycles. Cheaper softwoods can warp or crack under sustained heat — wood selection is one of the first things we check when evaluating a new product.
Heater Technology
Infrared heating panels vary a lot in quality between brands. We prioritize carbon and ceramic infrared emitters that distribute heat evenly across the panel rather than in isolated hot spots — this is a big part of why an infrared sauna should feel like a steady, enveloping warmth rather than uneven blasts of heat from one direction.
